Freshly-Made Aged Black Garlic


    
The aged garlic contains higher amounts of antioxidants and  gives a different taste and aroma than raw garlics. With at least two-week of aging  in a controlled environment with temperature and humidity, the black garlic is  free from odour, it has similar content of allicin compared with plain garlic,  but has almost double the amount of antioxidants. 
    
Black garlic contains a very specific compound called  S-Allycysteine (SAC) in high concentrations. SAC has been shown to assist with  the absorption of allicin that is beneficial for heart and other degenerative  diseases.
    
Black garlic is also a good source of calories, protein,  fiber, iron, vitamin C and calcium, etc.
